The Print ASCII File Command
The APF3812/PRTASCF command prints a ASCII file to an output queue as a SCS spool
file. The ASCII file must be placed in IFS. The contents of the ASCII file must be
PRTCTL(*FCFC), which means the first character of each line is a control code for the
printer. E.g. a ‘1' in position 1 is specifying, that this line is to be printed as the first line of
a new page. All other lines must have a blank in this position.
This command can substitute the OS/400 commands: PRTASCSTMF and
CVTPCLSPLF. The input for CVTPCLSPLF and PRTASCF have to be symbol set ISO-
8859-1 (Latin 1).
The Split Spooled File Command
The command APF3812/SPLITSPLF makes it possible to split an *SCS spooled file
without Auto Forms Control. You only identify the spooled file and an InterForm400 split
