<Shocks>
Do not subject the watch to violent shocks such as that resulting from being dropped on the floor.
<Chemical Agents, Gases and Mercury>
Avoid using the watch in environments containing chemical agents and gases. If solvents such
as thinner or benzine, as well as articles containing such substances (including gasoline,
fingernail polish, cresol, bathroom cleaners and adhesives) become adhered to the watch, they
can cause discoloration, deterioration and cracking. Use ample caution when handling
chemicals. In addition, contact with mercury used in thermometers and so forth can cause the
case and band to become discolored.
<Storage>
• When not using the watch for an extended period of time, carefully wipe off any perspiration,
dirt or moisture from the watch and store in a location preferably free of high and low
temperatures, high humidity.
