The chest belt has to be worn while using the heart rate function.
B. Using the belt
• Press the SENSOR button (F) to enter Heart Rate Mode, when wearing the
transmitter belt.
• The watch will automatically receive the heart rate data from the belt.
• The icon on the right-hand side will start to flash if a signal is received from
the transmitter belt.
• The current Heart Rate will be displayed on the watch. Beside “HRM”, ”RF” is
displayed to indicate that the data is obtained from the transmitter belt via
wireless radio frequency.
Moisten the chess belt conductive pads with saliva of ECG-gel
(available at you local pharmacy) in order to ensure good
contact with the skin at all time.
The HRM interface will freeze and the last heart rate record will be
displayed if no signal is received. For power saving, the watch will
automatically return to clock mode if no signal is received for about
10 seconds
