Filteringcanmakesubtleordramaticchangestotheoscilla‐
tor’stimbre.Eachoscillatorhastwomultimoderesonantfil‐
ters,AandB,aswellasadedicatedfilterenvelopeand
keyboardtrackinggenerator.
Thesepagesletyoucontrolallaspectsofthefilters.Among
otherthings,youcan:
•Adjustbasicsettingsfo
reachoscillator ’sfilters,
includingrouting,modes,cutoff,resonance,etc.
•Setupfiltermodulation,includingkeyboardtracking,
thefilterenvelope,LFOmodulation,andAMScontrol.
Notethatwhenthe“OscillatorMode”issettoSingle,only
Oscillator1’sfiltersareactive;thepagesforOscillator2’sfil‐

Eachoscillatorhastwofilters,FilterAandFilterB.This
parametercontrolswhetheroneorbothofthefiltersare
used,andifbothareused,itcontrolshowtheyare con‐
nectedtoeachother.
Single:ThisusesonlyFilterAasasingle2‐pole,12dB/
octavefilter(6dBforBan
dPassandBandReject).Whenthis
optionisselected,thecontrolsforFilterBwillbegrayed
out.
Serial:ThisusesbothFilterAandFilterB.Theoscillator
firstgoesthroughFilterA,andthentheoutputofFilterAis
processedthroughFilterB.
Parallel:Th
isalsousesbothFilterAandFilterB.Theoscil‐
latorfeedsbothfiltersdirectly,andtheoutputsofthetwo
filtersarethensummedtogether.
24dB/oct:Thismergesbothfilterstocreateasingle4‐pole,
24dB/octavefilter(12dBforBandPassandBandReject).In
comparisontoSingle,thisoptionproducesasharperroll‐off
beyondthecutofffrequency,aswellasaslightlymoredeli‐
cateresonance.Manyclassicanalogsynthsusedthisgeneral
typeoffilter.
When24dB/octisselected,onlythecontrolsforFilterAare
active;thecontrolsforFilterBwillbegray
edout.
