Inadditiontothechannelmessagesthathandleperfor‐

Ofthesesystemmessages,thereisasubsetcalled“system
exclusive messages”;theseareMIDImessagesth
atcanbe
freelyusedbyeachmanufacturer.Systemexclusivemes‐
sagesprovidetheflexibilitytotransmitandreceivedata
andsettingsthatarespecifictoanindividualmanufa cturer
ormodelofdevice.
