Remove any packaging surrounding the ramp. Ask your
assistant to lift and hold the ramp while you position the lift
motor assembly and slide the yoke into the ramp.
Note: To avoid scratches to the cover, place a piece of
packaging material against the front edge of the ramp as you
insert the yoke. This material will be removed once the
stabilizers are attached and secure.
Secure the base of the lift motor assembly using two hex head
screws (A), two split washers (E), and two washers (B).
Finger tighten.
Secure the ramp to the yoke using two buttonhead
screws (C), two washers (D) and two locknuts (G).
Wrench tighten using the ⁷⁄₃₂-inch hex key and a ⁹⁄₁₆-inch
socket wrench.
Return to the base of the lift motor assembly and wrench
tighten the two fasteners using a ½-inch socket wrench.
Important: Cut the tie wrap that secures the lift motor jack
screw.
Connect the 6-pin connector to its receptacle near the lift
motor.
Assemble both shaft covers. To assemble one set, position
the two pieces of the shaft cover so they lock in place. No gap
should appear along the seam line. Insert the self-tapping
screws (K) and tighten them using a Phillips-head screwdriver.
