Use the keypads to enter your exercise session selections and
display preferences.

Left selection key: Every time you press this key, the
display reflects the amount of time elapsed since you began
your exercise session, your time remaining, or your estimated
number of calories burned. An LED lights and indicates
which information is being displayed.
CROSSRAMP: Press and hold a CROSSRAMP key to
increase or decrease the force applied against your stride
from 1 to 20.
Ramp changes occur only when the foot pedals are in
motion. The number that appears on the display indicates
the selected CrossRamp setting, not the degree of incline.
There is not a one-to-one relationship between the degree of
incline and the percent of the CrossRamp grade setting
which appears in the lower display. The setting affects the
column height in the program profile. Refer to the figure in
More Information about the Upper Display.
Changes to the ramp incline are not immediate. It takes time
for the lift to reach the target incline shown on the display.
Note: The 534i has a stationary ramp so it does not have t
CROSSRAMP keys.

session immediately using the Manual Program. Refer to
Choosing QUICKSTART.
RESISTANCE: Press and hold a RESISTANCE key to
increase or decrease the force applied against your stride
