highlightedatthetopoftheLCDscreen.Asanadditionalfeature,the
valuescanscrollorscanbetweenthevalues
everyfive(5)secondsiftheScanoptionisselected.“Scan”willbelitintheupperrightcorneroftheLCDdisplay.

asolidhorizontallineof
segmentsnearthemiddleofthe
fieldwhichgraphically
representstheuser’scurrent
targetheartrate.Thisvalueis
dependentupontheheartrate
controlprogramalthough
changescanbeadministeredbytheuser.Theuser’scurrentprogressthroughtheprogramistrackedbyaflashing
column,whereeachcolumnequals1/26

oftheTimevalueenteredduringtheSetupmodeandtheheightofthe
columnrepresentstheuser’scurrentheartratepercentageversusthehorizontalbartarget.Eachsegmentofthe
columnrepresentsapercentageofthecurrentuser’sheartrate.
Astheuserprogressfromonesegmenttothe
other,theaverageheartratefortheprevioussegmentwillbedisplayed
asasolidcolumn.
PresstheSTOP/STARTkeyoncetoentertheCoolDownmode.SeethesectiontitledCoolDownonpage28.
Ifaheartrateisdetected,theheart(♥)symbolwillflash
andtheHeartRateGraphwilldisplaythecurrentpercentage
oftheuser’smaximumheartrate.Thecalculationsfortheuser’sheartratetargetwillbebasedupontheuserdata
enteredintheSetupmode.Pleaseensurethesevaluesarecorrectforthecurrentuser.
