Nautilus® TreadClimber®, Model TC916 Owner’s Manual
The Quick Start Feature
The Quick Start feature provides an immediate start from the intro display, without
having to enter any user information. This program uses the standard default
settings to calculate calories burned during a workout session.
To use the Quick Start program:
1. Press the [QUICK START] key. A message, “ENJOY WORKOUT” is displayed, the
workout begins with exercise statistics accumulating.
2. During the workout:
Walk speed may be changed at any time during the workout by pressing the
[Speed: UP] key to increase the walk speed, or the [Speed: DOWN] key to
decrease the walk speed. The new walk speed will continue through the rest
of the workout until changed using the Speed keys.
• Treadle displacement may be changed at any time during the workout by
pressing the [Treadle: MAX] key to increase the height, or the [Treadle: MIN]
key to decrease the height. The new height will continue through the rest of
the workout until changed using the [Treadle: MAX, Treadle: MIN] keys.
3. Press [STOP] to pause the workout. Press [STOP] again to end the workout. The
workout statistics will be displayed, and then the console will revert back to the
“SELECT WORKOUT” message.
5 Minute Demo
The 5 minute instructional program guides the user through the operation of the
machine and the functions of the console keys. Once the 5 Minute Demo workout
key is pressed, the user will be guided through a 5 minute demonstration. At
the end of the 5 minutes, the user may continue to work out by pressing the
TreadClimber
®
Workout key when prompted, or stop the workout.
