GENERAL
TROUBLESHOOTING YOUR ELLIPTICAL TRAINER
Our Elliptical Trainers are designed to be reliable and easy to use. If,
however, you have a problem, these troubleshooting steps may indicate
the cause.
PROBLEM: The console does not light up.
SOLUTION: Make sure you are turning the pedals. This is a self-generating
product.
SOLUTION: Make sure the wire harness is plugged in to the back of the
console.
PROBLEM: The Elliptical Trainer makes a squeaking or creaking noise.
SOLUTION: Check and tighten all the bolts on the Elliptical Trainer.
SOLUTION: Clean the track and the roller wheels with a cloth and a mild
cleaning detergent.
PROBLEM: You lose power to the console when you reverse direction, or
when you stop pedaling at the end of your workout.
SOLUTION: Remove the battery cover on the backside of your console.
Either plug in the existing battery, or replace with a new 9-volt battery.
NOTE: If the above steps do not remedy the problem, discontinue use and
contact your retailer.
OBTAINING SERVICE
Do not attempt to service this Elliptical Trainer yourself except for the
maintenance tasks described in this manual. For information on service
to your VISION FITNESS Elliptical Trainer, contact the local retailer from
whom you purchased the Elliptical Trainer. To expedite service, please
make sure to have your serial number available. The serial number is found
on a label located on the front support tube of your Elliptical Trainer.
