• Repeat this procedure to assemble the remaining hex

Assembly
• Fit a retainer to the inside and outside of the back end of
the vehicle frame, as shown.
• Insert a #8 x
3

" screw through the outside retainer and
into the inside retainer.
• Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.
• Repeat this procedure to attach the other retainers
(inside and outside) to the other side of the back end
of the vehicle frame.

.437 Cap Nut

• Fit a .437 cap nut onto the end of the drive axle.
•Tap the cap nut with a hammer to secure the cap nut on
the drive axle. Pull on the cap nut to be sure it is secure.
Hint: You may need the help of another adult to support
the other end of the drive axle while you tap the cap nut.
• Repeat steps 18 through 20 to assemble the other rear
wheel onto the other end of the drive axle.
