Model Management - The Basics
Purpose
The objects you create in Visual Composer Storyboard are called models. A model commonly
defines portal content, such as pages and iViews. In the process of using Visual Composer to
develop portal content, each model ultimately becomes a portal business package.
Visual Composer Storyboard provides standard file management features for managing your
models. You can open a new or existing model, navigate through a model, print a model, view
a list of existing models and their properties, and modify the model properties.
You can use the main menu options to perform basic Visual Composer
procedures. Alternatively, you can use the corresponding buttons in the main
toolbar.
All the models you create with the Visual Composer Storyboard are saved on the Visual
Composer Storyboard server, in the folder \inetpub\wwwroot\Visual Composer\data.
Each model is saved in a subfolder with the same name as the model.
