1.3 Networking an In-Sight 4000 Sensor
An In-Sight 4000 sensor is designed to operate as a host system on an Ethernet
TCP/IP network. For the purposes of the instructions in this manual, an In-Sight
network exists wherever any In-Sight sensor is connected by Ethernet to at least one
other In-Sight sensor or personal computer running In-Sight PC Host software.
In-Sight 4000 sensors may be used in several possible network configurations. For
each configuration, the In-Sight 4000 is configured from the user interface of another
In-Sight system, which also provides the remote display for the In-Sight 4000.
