DECOMPRESSION DIVE, ABOVE CEILING.

AND ALARM. YOU SHOULD IMMEDIATLY (WITHIN
3 MINUTES) DESCEND TO OR BELOW CEILING.
In addition, an Error warning (Er) reminds you that you have only three minutes to
correct the situation. You must immediately descend to, or below, the ceiling.
If you continueto violate thedecompression, thedive computerwill gointo a permanent
Error Mode. In thismode, theinstrument can onlybe usedas adepth gaugeand timer.
You must not dive again for at least 48 hours. (See Section 5.7. Error conditions).
6.2. Diving in NITROX mode (DIVEean)
NITROX mode (DIVEean) isthe seconddive modeavailable inSuunto D9and isused
when using oxygen- enriched gas mixtures.
6.2.1. Before diving in NITROX mode
If set to the NITROX mode, the correct oxygen percentage of the gas in your cylinder
must always be entered into the computer to ensure correct nitrogen and oxygen
calculations. The dive computer adjusts its mathematical nitrogen and oxygen
calculation models accordingly. The divecomputer willnot accept fractionalpercentage
values of oxygen concentration.Do notround upfractional percentages.For example,
31.8% oxygen shouldbe enteredas 31%. Roundingup will causenitrogen percentages
