9. Insert the end of a Crosswalk Arm (121) into the
hole in the top of a resistance mechanism.
Make sure that the bend in the Crosswalk
Arm is positioned as shown.
Tighten a #8 x 3/4" Screw (1) into the resistance
mechanism and the Crosswalk Arm (121) from
the direction shown. Then, press a Small Cap
(119) into the hole for the Screw.
Attach the other Crosswalk Arm (121) as de-
scribed above.
Carefully lower the Crosswalk Arms (121) toward
the Walking Belt (49).

10. Slide the Right Upright Cover (86) onto the
Right Upright (85). Remove the tie from the 5/16"
Cage Nut (38) in the Right Handrail (83). If neces-
sary, press the Cage Nut back into place.
Hold the Right Handrail (83) near the Right
Upright (85). Insert the Upright Wire (87)
through the bracket on the bottom of the Right
Handrail. Pull the Upright Wire out of the end of
the Right Handrail.
Attach the Right Handrail (83) to the Right
Upright (85) with two 5/16" x 1" Flat Head Bolts
(3) and a 5/16" x 1" Bolt (4) with a 5/16" Star
Washer (13); do not fully tighten the Bolts
yet.
Attach the Left Upright Cover (not shown)
and the Left Handrail (not shown) in the
same way. Note: There is no wire on the left
side.
