6.3 TROUBLESHOOTING THE TREADMILL
Malfunction Probable Cause Corrective Action
No power.
ON / OFF switch is not in proper
position.
Turn the switch to the ON position.
Power source is insufficient.
Plug treadmill into a dedicated 20
amp circuit.
Using a voltmeter, verify power at
outlet. If no power exists, reset
circuit breaker at panel.
Line cord is damaged.
Replace line cord. Contact Life

Line cord is improperly seated in
socket.
Inspect power connection at wall
outlet and at machine for proper
contact.
Circuit breaker is tripped.
Verify that circuit breaker is not
open. If open, reset circuit breaker.
The location of the circuit breaker is
on the outside of the treadmill, next
to the ON/OFF switch. The breaker
is a circular disk with a white button.
The white button will have popped
out. Press the white button at it’s
center to reset the circuit breaker.
