Dedicated PVC Management
Dedicated PVC management refers to the ability to have a PVC
originated from the network and terminated in the TSU IQ+ (see
Figure 4-5 on page 4-10). This is an ideal configuration for third-
party management. It isolates the customer’s data traffic from
network management traffic, and it also acts as a fire-wall that
restricts management data to the TSU IQ+. Dedicated PVC
management is also ideal when the user wants to guarantee access
to a remote TSU IQ+ regardless of the state of the remote LAN.
