50 INJECTING YOUR INSULIN
InDuo™ insulin doser function check
If you think that the InDuo™ insulin doser is not
working properly, follow this procedure:
• Screw on a new NovoFine
®
needle, as described
on page 41.
• Prime the insulin doser as described on page 42.
• Put the outer needle cap over the needle.
• Dispense 20 units into the outer needle cap.
The insulin should fill the lower part of the outer
needle cap.
• If too much or too little insulin is released,
repeat the test.
• If the InDuo™ insulin doser again releases too
much or too little insulin, do not use your insulin
doser. Do not try to repair a faulty insulin doser.
