FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE
The treadmill console offers an impressive selection of
features designed to make your workouts more effec-
tive and enjoyable. When the manual mode of the con-
sole is selected, the speed and incline of the treadmill
can be changed with the touch of a button. As you ex-
ercise, the console will display continuous exercise
feedback. You can even measure your heart rate using
the handgrip pulse sensor or the optional chest pulse
sensor. See page 23 for information about the optional
chest pulse sensor.
In addition, the console features twenty preset work-
outs—five Weight Loss workouts, five Aerobic work-
outs, five Performance workouts, and five Endurance
workouts. Each workout automatically controls the
speed and incline of the treadmill as it guides you
through an effective exercise session. You can even
create your own custom workouts and save them for fu-
ture use. The console also offers two pulse workouts
that control the speed and incline of the treadmill to
help you keep your heart rate near target heart rate set-
tings.
The console also features the iFit interactive workout
system. The iFit system accepts iFit cards with work-
outs that help you achieve specific fitness goals. For
example, lose unwanted pounds with the 8-week
Weight Loss workout. iFit workouts automatically con-
trol the treadmill. iFit cards are available separately. To
purchase iFit cards at any time, go to www.iFit.com
or call the telephone number on the front cover of
this manual. iFit cards are also available at select
stores.
Whether you select the manual mode or a workout,
you can also listen to your favorite workout music or
audio books with the consoleʼs premium stereo sound
system.
