F Code (PWD)
There are times when you may wish
to use a password when sending con-
fidential faxes with the F Code fea-
ture.
Limitation
❒ You can enter a password up to 20
digits long.

ture are marked “PWD” on all re-

“REPORTS/LISTS”
JBIG Transmission
FAX 400dpi option is required
If you use JBIG (Joint Bi-level Image
Experts Group) compression you can
send photographic originals at high
speed across G3/IG3 lines.
Limitation
❒ If ECM is turned off, JBIG Trans-
mission is not available.
❒ This feature requires that the other
party's fax machine has both the
JBIG function and ECM function
(G3 communication only).
