Alarm on indicator
To turn holiday highlighting on and off
1. Display the Calendar screen and scroll to the month that contains the date
you want to highlight or unhighlight.
2. Hold down A for about one second, until the first day of the displayed
month starts to flash, which indicates the setting screen.
The first day of the month flashes because it is
selected
.
3. Use E (+) and B () to move the flashing around the calendar to the
date whose highlighting you want to turn on or off.
Holding down either button moves the flashing at high speed.
4. When the date you want is flashing, press F to toggle its highlighting on
and off.
5. After all date highlighting for the month is the way you want, press A to
save your settings and exit the setting screen.
The message WAIT SET appears on the display for a few moments as
the watch saves your settings.

You can also make watch holiday settings on your computer using the link
software that comes bundled with the watch. See the WQV Link 2.0 users
manual on the CD-ROM that comes with the watch for more information.
ALARM
You can set up to five independent Daily
Alarms, and assign images in watch memory
to each alarm so the image flashes on the
display while the alarm is sounding.
When the Hourly Time Signal is turned on, the
watch beeps every hour on the hour.
CASIO flashes on the screen if you do not
have any alarm screen image specified or if
the image you specified has been deleted.
Alarm settings (and Hourly Time Signal
settings) are available in the Alarm Mode,
which you can enter by pressing D.
To set the alarm time and alarm screen image
1. In the Alarm Mode, use B and E to
select the alarm (1 to 5) whose time you
want to set.
2. After you select an alarm, hold down A until the hour digits of the alarm
time start to flash, which indicates the setting screen.
This automatically turns on the alarm and displays the alarm on
indicator.

To turn a Daily Alarm and the Hourly Time Signal on and off
1. In the Alarm Mode, use B and E to select an alarm or the Hourly Time
Signal you want to turn on or off.
2. Press C to turn it on and off.
The alarm on indicator ( ) and the Hourly Time Signal on indicator
( ) are shown on the display in the Timekeeping, Alarm, Countdown
Timer, and Stopwatch Modes.
If any alarm is on, the alarm on indicator is shown on the display.
COUNTDOWN TIMER
You can set the Countdown Timer within a
range of 1 to 60 minutes.
You can assign an image in watch memory as
the countdown timer screen image, which
flashes on the display while the countdown
timer alarm is sounding.
CASIO flashes on the screen if you do not
have any countdown timer screen image
specified or if the image you specified has
been deleted.
All of the operations in this section can be
performed in the Countdown Timer Mode,
which you can enter by pressing D.
To set the countdown start time and countdown timer screen
image
1. In the Countdown Timer Mode, hold down
A until the minutes setting of the
countdown timer starts to flash, which
indicates the setting screen.
2. Press C or D to toggle between the
minutes setting screen and countdown
timer screen image setting screen.
3. Use E (+) and B () to change the
flashing setting.
While the countdown timer screen image
is flashing on the display, press E or B
to scroll through images in watch
memory. Display the one you want to
use as your countdown timer screen
image.
Holding down either button changes the
setting at high speed.
4. Press A to exit the setting screen.

3. Use C or D to move the flashing in the sequence shown below to select
other settings.
4. Use E (+) and B () to change the flashing setting.
While the alarm screen image is flashing on the display, press E or B
to scroll through images in watch memory. Display the one you want to
use as your alarm screen image.
Holding down either button changes the setting at high speed.
When setting the alarm time using the 12-hour format, take care to set
the time correctly as am (A indicator) or pm (P indicator).
5. Press A to exit the setting screen.
Alarm Operation
When an alarm is turned on, the alarm tone sounds for 20 seconds at the
preset time each day with an alarm screen image flashing on the display.
Press any button to stop the alarm after it starts to sound.
To test the alarm
In the Alarm Mode, hold down C to sound the alarm.

Countdown Timer Operation
A countdown timer screen image flashes on the display and an alarm sounds
for 10 seconds when the countdown reaches zero.
Press any button to stop the alarm after it starts to sound.
The countdown time is automatically reset to its start time after the alarm
stops.
To use the Countdown Timer
Press E while in the Countdown Timer Mode
to start the countdown timer.
The time is counted down on the display in
one-second increments.
Pressing E while a countdown operation is
in progress pauses the countdown. Press
E again to resume the operation.
Pressing B while a countdown is stopped
resets the countdown to the countdown start
time.
