Installation (Fig. 103)
1. Position generator belt to engine and generator pul-
leys.
2. Secure pump assembly to bell housing (Fig. 104):
A. Carefully insert coupling on pump shaft into cou-
plingattachedtoengineandslidepumpassemblyto
bell housing. Take care to not damage hydraulic
hoses, traction controlcable or other componentsas
pump assembly is installed.
B. Secure pump assembly to bell housing with two
(2) cap screws and flat washers.
CAUTION
Be careful when rotating the idler bracket. The
torsionspring that tensions the bracket applies a
heavy load that may cause personal i njury.
3. Use a 3/8” drive breaker bar in idler bracket square
drive hole to rotate and hold idler pulley away from gen-
erator belt.
4. While holding idler pulley away from generator belt,
install belt onto idler pulley. Then, use breaker bar to al-
low idler bracket to rotate and tension generator belt.
5. Connect the cutting unit power disconnect couplers.
