The front of the set
STANDBY m Standby This switches offthe set. If you press STANDBY m , it will automatically cancel
any menu you have chosen and will stop TIMERrecording.
RECORD n
Record This records the TVchannel you have selected at that moment.
PROGRAMME;
Programme number plus This changes tothe next numbered programme (forexample,
2 to 3).
PROGRAMME=
Programme number minus This changes tothe previous numbered programme (for
example, 3 to 2).
PLAY G
Playback This plays a recorded cassette.
STOP/EJECT ?
Pause and stop This stops the tape,except during TIMER recording. Ifyou press it again, it
ejects the tape.
STILL R
Still pictureThis stops the tape and shows thepicture at that moment as a stillpicture.

Rotary controlTurn the control left: Ifyou have pressed STOP or STANDBY,this rewinds
the cassette. Ifyou have pressed PLAY, this scans the picturein reverse.
Turn the control right:If you have pressed STOP or STANDBY,this winds the cassetteon.
If you have pressed PLAY,this scans the picture forward.
