2. Refer to HOW TO LOWER THE TREADMILL FOR USE
on page 11. Follow step 2 on page 11 to lower the treadmill.
Cut the plastic ties that hold the cage nuts in each
Handrail (30, 32).
Position the Left Handrail (30) on the left Upright (31) as
shown. Thread two 1/4Ó x 1Ó Bolts (23) with 1/4Ó Washers
(51) into the left Upright and the Left Handrail. Do not
tighten the Bolts yet.
Have a second person hold the Console Base (12) and
the Right Handrail (32) near the right Upright (31) as
shown. Feed the excess Wire Harness (28) into the upper
end of the Right Handrail, while pulling the excess from
the bottom of the right Upright (31) (see drawing 5 below).
Attach the Right Handrail (32) to the right Upright (31)
with two 1/4Ó x 1Ó Bolts (23) and 1/4Ó Washers (51). Do
not tighten the Bolts yet. Be careful not to pinch the
Wire Harness (28).
3. Attach the Console Base (12) to the Handrails (30, 32)
with four Screws (10).
Feed the excess Wire Harness (28) into the upper end of
the Right Handrail (32).
Tighten all parts used in steps 2 and 3.
4. Attach the Storage Catch (80) and the Catch Spacer
(44) to the left side of the Frame (76) with four Screws
(10). Be careful not to overtighten the Screws. Make
sure that the Storage Catch and the Catch Spacer
are turned as shown.
5. Remove the backing from the Wrench Clip (17). Press
the Wrench Clip onto the base of the right Upright (31) in
the indicated location. Press the Allen Wrench (18) into
the Wrench Clip.
6. Make sure that all parts are tightened before you use
the treadmill. To protect the floor or carpet, place a mat
under the treadmill.
