Assembly
• Position the vehicle upright.
• Apply headlight labels to the fairing as shown.
• Make sure the areas where the labels will be applied are
clean and dry.

• Slide the front axle through the handlebar.
Note: If the front axle will not slide through the handlebar,
the handlebar may be out of alignment. To re-align,
squeeze together the fairing and the handgrip at the top of
that handlebar.
• Fit a cap nut on the end of the front axle.
• Support the front axle and tap the cap nut with a hammer
to secure it on the end of the front axle.

• Align the “L” on the left headlight lens with the “L” in the
left headlight on the fairing.
• Insert the tabs on the headlight lens into the slots in
the fairing.
• Press firmly to snap the headlight lens into the fairing.
• Repeat this procedure to assemble the right headlight
lens (marked “R”) to the fairing.

• Snap the gas cap into the vehicle body.
• Apply the fuel label to the gas cap.
• Make sure the area where the label will be applied is
clean and dry.

• Insert the tabs on the front of the seat into the
vehicle body.
• Lower the seat. Do not fasten the seat until you have
installed your charged battery. (See Battery Installation
instructions on page 16.)
