4.24 LCD unit/FL inverter
Removing the LCD unit/FL inverter
To remove the LCD unit/FL inverter, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-43 to 4-46.
1. Remove the keyboard holder. (Refer to Figure 4-12 on page 4-22.)
2. Remove the mask seals (2 points), mask rubbers (2 points) and following screws
securing the LCD mask.
• M2.5×6B FLAT HEAD screw ×2
• M2×4B S- THIN HEAD screw ×2

3. Remove the LCD mask (stuck with a double-sided tape) while releasing the latches.
4. Peel the insulator on the connector of HV cable and disconnect the FL cable and HV
cable from the FL inverter.
