Removal (Fig. 22)
1. Park machine on a level s urface, lower cutting
decks, stop engine, engage parking brake and remove
key from the ignition switch.
2. Removecutting deckfrom rear lift armto beremoved
(see Cutting Deck Carrier Frame Removal in the Ser-
vice and Repairs section of Chapter 7 -- Cutting Decks).
3. Disconnect lift cylinder from lift arm (Fig. 23):
A. Remove one (1) retaining ring and thrust washer
from the cylinder pin that secures lift cylinder to lift
arm.
B. Pull cylinder pin from the lift cylinder and lift arm.
Locate and retrieve second thrust washer.
