Chapter 4 Content Preparation
a Toolbar
Provides buttons corresponding to the functions
related to material registration and previewing. There
are two types of toolbar, depending on the selected
type of material. Some buttons will only be shown on
particular tabs.
On the Video, Graphics, Flash, or Audio tab
On the Streaming, URL, Text, or Control tab
b Tabs
Tabs are provided for respective types of materials.
Selecting a tab lists material of the selected type on the
content list.
The tabs displayed in the “Content Management”
window vary, depending on the “content setup” of the
VSPA-D7 software.
See “Selecting Materials to Be Used” on page 14 for
details.
c Content list
Shows material registered in the VSPA-D7 software.
The displayed columns may vary, depending on the
selected tab.
At first, the items are listed in the order of the index
numbers. Clicking one of the column headings, such
as “Type” or “Title” sorts data items in the order of the
selected column.
The width of each column of the list can be modified,
by clicking a dividing line to select it, then dragging it
with the mouse.
The content list allows you to select the columns to be
displayed. Right-clicking the heading row displays a
menu of the column headings. You can show or hide
columns by selecting or deselecting column headings.
You can select the thumbnail view on the “Video” or
“Graphics” tab, so that you can easily recognize each
piece of material. In the thumbnail view, information
on each piece of material pops up when you point to a
thumbnail with the mouse pointer.
When you are going to perform an operation with a
piece of material on the list, first select the desired
piece of material, then use one of the buttons on the
toolbar.
Or, right-click the desired item, and select the desired
command on the popup menu.
What is “Delete Date”?
A date of deletion will be assigned to each piece of content
upon distribution, and displayed in the “Content
Button Description

Opens a window for modifying the title and/or
type of the selected piece of material.
Opens the “Select VSP-NS7 for Preview”
window for selecting a player as a preview

Opens a window for modifying the selected
piece of material.
Opens a window for registering an image file
as a piece of text material.
Deletes the selected piece of material.
Opens the “Select VSP-NS7 for Preview”
window for selecting a player as a preview
device.

When the “Control” tab is selected it will carry
the selected control command out on the
player for previewing.
