Self Record using the Remote Control
(Setting the Self Timer) (SC-D965 only)

✤ The SELF TIMER function works only in <Camera> mode.

✤ When you use the SELF TIMER function on the remote control, the
recording begins automatically in 10 seconds.
1. Set the [Power] switch to [CAMERA].
2. Set the [Mode] switch to [TAPE].
3. Press the [SELF TIMER] button until the appropriate
indicator is displayed.
4. Press the [Start/Stop] button to start the timer.

SELF TIMER starts counting down from 10 with a
beep sound.
■
If you want to cancel the SELF TIMER function
before recording, press the [SELF TIMER]
button.
5. Press the [Start/Stop] button again when you wish
to stop recording.
[ Notes ]
■
Do not obstruct the remote control sensor by putting
obstacles between the remote control and
Camcorder.
■
The remote control range is 4 ~5m (13 ~17 ft).
■
The effective remote control angle is up to 30
degrees left /right from the center line.
■
Using a tripod is recommended for delayed
recording.

✤ Lorsque vous utilisez la fonction SELF TIMER de la télécommande,
l'enregistrement commence automatiquement dans les dix secondes qui
suivent.
1. Placez l’interrupteur [Power] sur [CAMERA].
2. Placez l’interrupteur [Mode] sur [TAPE].
3. Appuyez sur le bouton [SELF TIMER] jusqu'à ce que
le témoin correspondant s'affiche.
4. Appuyez sur le bouton [Start/Stop] pour mettre le
retardateur en marche.

Le retardateur automatique lance le compte à
rebours à partir de dix en émettant un signal
sonore.
■
Si vous souhaitez désactiver le retardateur
automatique avant l’enregistrement, appuyez sur le
bouton [SELF TIMER].
5. Appuyez sur le bouton [Start/Stop] une nouvelle fois
lorsque vous souhaitez arrêter l'enregistrement.
[ Remarques ]
■
Ne placez aucun objet pouvant constituer un obstacle
entre le capteur de la télécommande et le caméscope.
■
La portée de la télécommande est de 4 à 5 m.
■
La télécommande peut être orientée sans
dysfonctionnement jusqu’à 30 degrés de part et
d’autre de la ligne médiane de l’appareil.
■
L’utilisation d’un trépied est recommandée pour les
enregistrements retardés.
