Training equipment with electronic components may
cause interfering stray signals.Totackletheseproblems,
trythefollowing:
1.Removethetransmitterfromyourchestandusethe
trainingequipmentasyouwouldnormally.
2.Movethewristunitarounduntilyoundanareain
whichitdisplaysnostrayreadingordoesnotashthe
heartsymbol.Interferenceisoftenworstrightinfront
ofthedisplaypaneloftheequipment,whiletheleftor
rightsideofthedisplayisrelativelyfreeofdisturbance.
3.Putthetransmitterbackonyourchestandkeepthe
wristunitinthisinterference-freeareaasmuchas
possible.
IftheRS100stilldoesnotwork,thepieceofequip-
mentmaybeelectricallytoonoisyforwirelessheartrate
measurement.
Crosstalk.Aheartratesymbolwithoutaframeindicates
non-codedheartratetransmission.Wheninnon-coded
mode,thetrainingcomputerpicksuptransmittersignals
within1m/3ft.Simultaneousnon-codedsignalsfrom
morethanonetransmittercancauseanincorrectreading.
