About the time features.
Convection Bake
During convection baking a heating element is used
to raise the temperature of the air inside the oven.
Any oven temperature from 225°F. to 450°F. may be
programmed. A fan circulates the heated air throughout
the oven, over and around the food, producing golden
brown exteriors and rich, moist interiors.
Press
Convection BAKE.
Enter the desired oven temperature.
To preheat, press
START.
When the temperature is reached, the oven signals.
If you do not open the door within 30 minutes the
oven will turn off automatically. Place the food in
the oven.
Enter the desired baking time.
Press
START.
If you do not want to preheat, skip steps 3 and 4.
For Best Results
Allow at least one inch between the pan and the walls
of the oven.
When converting your favorite recipe from regular
oven baking to convection baking, lower the oven
temperature 25–50°F. and check food at the
minimum time.
Cooking Tip
Some foods cook faster using convection baking than in
regular oven cooking.
