When you are taking pictures outdoors, make sure the
sun is behind you. In very bright light (for example, at
the beach or in snow) your pictures may come out too
light. However, you can adjust the exposure manually
to make your photos brighter or darker. For
instructions, see “Adjusting the exposure” on page
2-15. You can also correct these problems with your
computer using image editing software.
Setting the image quality
The PhotoPC 750Z has four color and three
monochrome image quality settings. Turn the
camera’s dial switch to
On
or
View
and press
the image quality button on the camera to
cycle from one setting to another. The
following settings appear on the display
panel.
Note:

HyPict
and
Monochrome HyPict
are only available
when the HyPict mode is set to
On
. To change the
HyPict setting, see “Turning on the HyPict mode” on
page 2-4.

When the camera is turned off, the image quality
condition inside the camera does not change.
