beforecleaning.Donotuseliquidoraerosolcleaners.
Useadampclothforcleaning.
Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the
projector.
Foraddedprotectiontotheprojectorduringa lightning
storm,orwhen itis leftunattended andunused forlong
periodsoftime,unplugitfromthewalloutlet.Thiswill
preventdamageduetolightningandpowerlinesurges.
Donotexposethisunittorainorusenearwater...for
example,inawetbasement,nearaswimmingpool,etc...
Do not use attachments not recommended by the
manufacturerastheymaycausehazards.
Donotplacethisprojectoronanunstablecart, stand,
ortable.Theprojectormayfall,causingseriousinjury
toa childor adult,and seriousdamage tothe projector.
Use only with a cart or stand recommended by the
manufacturer,orsoldwiththeprojector.Wallorshelf
mountingshouldfollowthemanufacturer’sinstructions,
and should use a mounting kit approved by the
manufacturers.
Anapplianceandcartcombination
shouldbemovedwithcare.Quick
stops,excessiveforce,anduneven
surfacesmay cause theappliance
andcartcombinationtooverturn.
Slotsandopeningsinthebackandbottomofthecabinet
areprovidedforventilation,toensurereliableoperationof
theequipmentandtoprotectitfromoverheating.
Theopeningsshouldneverbecoveredwithclothorother
materials,andthebottomopeningshouldnotbeblocked
byplacingtheprojectorona bed, sofa,rug,orother
similarsurface.Thisprojectorshouldneverbeplaced
nearoroveraradiatororheatregister.
Thisprojectorshouldnotbeplacedinabuilt-ininstallation
suchasabookcaseunlessproperventilationisprovided.
Neverpushobjectsofanykindintothisprojectorthrough
cabinetslotsastheymaytouchdangerousvoltagepoints
orshortoutpartsthatcouldresultina fire orelectric
shock.Neverspillliquidofanykindontheprojector.
Donotinstall theprojector nearthe ventilation ductof
air-conditioningequipment.
Thisprojectorshouldbeoperatedonlyfromthetype
ofpowersource indicatedon themarking label.If you
arenotsureofthetypeofpowersupplied,consultyour
authorizeddealerorlocalpowercompany.
Donotoverloadwalloutletsandextensioncordsasthis
canresultinfireorelectricshock.Donotallowanything
toreston thepower cord.Do notlocate thisprojector
wherethecordmaybedamagedbypersonswalkingon
it.
Donotattempttoservicethisprojectoryourselfas
opening or removing Covers may expose you to

toqualifiedservicepersonnel.
Unplugthisprojectorfromwalloutletandreferservicing
to qualified service personnel under the following
conditions:
a.Whenthepowercordorplugisdamagedorfrayed.
b.Ifliquidhasbeenspilledintotheprojector.
c.Iftheprojectorhasbeenexposedtorainorwater.
d.Iftheprojectordoesnotoperatenormallybyfollowing
theoperatinginstructions.Adjustonlythosecontrols
thatarecoveredbytheoperatinginstructions as
improperadjustmentofothercontrolsmayresultin
damageandwilloftenrequireextensiveworkbya
qualifiedtechniciantorestoretheprojectortonormal
operation.
e.Iftheprojectorhasbeendroppedorthecabinethas
beendamaged.
f.When the projector exhibitsadistinctchangein
performance-thisindicatesaneedforservice.
Whenreplacementpartsarerequired,besure the
servicetechnicianhasusedreplacementpartsspecified
bythemanufacturerthathavethesamecharacteristics
astheoriginalpart.Unauthorizedsubstitutionsmay
resultinfire,electricshock,orinjurytopersons.
Upon completion of any service or repairs to this
projector, askthe servicetechnicianto performroutine
safetycheckstodeterminethattheprojectorisinsafe
operatingcondition.
