To enter letters, press the letter keys on the keyboard.
Press (Shift key) to switch the uppercase and lowercase letters. Press the
Shift key twice to change to all caps.
Press (Alt key) to enter a number or alternate character shown on a key.
Press the Alt key twice to change to numeric mode.
To enter symbols, press (Symbols key), then use the Up/Down/Left/Right
key to locate a symbol. Press the Center select key to enter the symbol.
To move the cursor, press the Up/Down/Left/Right key.
To delete the character before the cursor, press (Delete key) or the Clear
key. Hold the Delete key or the Clear key to delete all characters before
the cursor.
To enter a carriage return, press (Enter/return key).
To enter a space, press (Space key).

Entering text
While on the home screen, you can use the Up/Down/Left/Right key to
access shortcuts:
• Press up to start an SMS (text) message.
• Press down to open the Address Book.
• Press right to access the calendar.
• Press left to access email.
