The following camera accessories are sold separately. Some accessories are
not sold in some regions, or may no longer be available.
Power Supplies
AC Adapter Kit ACK800
z This kit lets you power the camera using
household power. Recommended for
powering the camera for an extended
period of time or when connecting to a
computer or printer. Cannot be used to
charge the camera batteries.
Battery and Charger Kit CBK4-300
z This dedicated battery charger kit includes
both Battery Charger CB-5AH and four
NB-3AH rechargeable AA NiMH (nickel
metal hydride) batteries. Recommended
for powering the camera for an extended
period of time.
Flash
High-Power Flash HF-DC1
z This externally mounted flash can be used
to capture photographic subjects that are
too distant for the built-in flash to
illuminate.
Separately Sold Accessories
You can also purchase NiMH Battery NB4-300, a set of four rechargeable
AA NiMH batteries separately. Battery and Charger Kit CBK4-200 can also
be used.
Using Accessories Abroad
The battery charger and the AC adapter kit can be used in regions that have 100 –
240 V (50/60 Hz) AC power.
If the plug does not fit the outlet, use a commercially available plug adapter. Do
not use electrical transformers for foreign travel as they will cause damage.
