Avoid rough handling such as bumping or dropping.
Avoid moisture and extreme temperatures. For best results, use
between the temperatures of 39˚ F and 100˚ F (4˚ C and 38˚ C).
Clean using only a slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaners
with chemical agents.
Special Care & Handling
Your Ivan II, the Conqueror Talking Chess Set uses
4 “AA” batteries.
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline & standard or rechargeable batteries.
Install batteries so that the polarity (+ and -) matches
the diagrams in the battery compartment.
Use only batteries of the same type and equivalency.
Remove exhausted batteries from the unit.
Do not short circuit battery terminals.

RADIOSHACK OF Mexico, LTD OF C.V. guarantees this product for a term of a year or ninety days in
all its parts and labor against any defect of production and operation from the purchase date of the con-
sumer.
CONDITIONS
I. You are required to present this policy and the unit to Radio Shack, Inc. of Mexico’s or the service
center for Radio Shack of Mexico, INC. of C.V. located in WORN VALLEJO 1361 (ENTERING FOR
STREET, URANIUM) WINE CELLAR K CABBAGE. NEW INDUSTRIAL VALLEJO C.P. 007700, GUSTA-
VO A. BEAM, MEXICO, D.F. TEL: 5724-9163, 5724-9180, 5369-1721, FAX 5369-1462, this is
where the service center can locate parts, components and accessories.
II. This policy allows for the repair of the product including any part or faulty components, without any-
charge to the customer. Cost of freight and shipment of this product will be covered by by Radio Shack
of Mexico, INC. of C.V.
III. Repair and services should not be over 30 days from the time the unit is received and where the
guaranty is honored.
IV. This Guarantee will not be valid for the following reasons:
a) When the product has been used in not normal conditions.
b) When instructions for the product has not been followed properly
c) When the product has been altered or repaired unauthorized dealers/repair centers.
V. If your Guarantee has been lost or misplaced, the customer can contact the dealer and receive
another Guarantee Policy. The customer must present a receipt or proof of purchase.
*NOTE: This unit has aguarantee of one year from purchase. The batteries have a guarantee of 90
days.
