Standard version lanterns: Push
lighted match through lighting hole, hold
near mantle and open fuel valve fully.
• EXPLOSION - FIRE HAZARD
• Propane is heavier than air and can accumulate in low places. If you smell gas,
leave the area immediately.
• Always attach or detach propane source outdoors; never while lantern is light-
ed, near flame, pilot lights, other ignition sources or while lantern is hot to touch.
• Always light & use lantern outdoors.
• This lantern must not be exposed to flammable vapors or liquids during lighting.
• This lantern is red hot during use and can ignite flammables too close to the
mantles. Keep flammables at least 12 inches from the sides and 48 inches from
the top of the lantern. Keep gasoline and other flammable liquids and vapors
well away from lantern.
Electronic Ignition version lanterns:
Tu rn fuel valve on. The valve should click
and a spark should jump between the
electrodes and ignite the mantles.
NOTE: If lantern does not light, repeat
above step. If the lantern does not light
after several attempts, check for a spark
while clicking the valve. If no spark is
present, check the electrode gap. The
gap should be about 1/8" (3 mm). Bend
flat electrode to set gap. If the lantern is
wet due to rain, high humidity, etc., the
valve may not spark. Use lighting proce-
dure for standard version lanterns.
■ Brightness may be adjusted with fuel
valve.

Quite la tapa protectora de la parte superior del cilindro de propano. Guarde la
tapa para usarla cuando vaya a almacenarlo. Enrosque el cilindro de propano en
la lámpara. Tenga cuidado de no trasroscar la rosca. Apriételo solamente a mano.

Ponga el cilindro asegurado en la base de la lámpara.
