To Attach Rainfly
1. Assemble the two gold, interlocking, shock-corded vestibule poles.
2. Unfold rainfly. Locate the hook & loop fasteners on the underside of rainfly.
3. Turn rainfly over and drape over tent frame, with zipper on vestibule lining up over front and back doors.
NOTE: When positioned properly, seams on rainfly will always align with poles on tent.
4. Attach hook & loop fasteners, located on seams of the underside of rainfly, around the red main poles and silver cross poles. This
step is important and will secure the rainfly to the frame. (Fig. 3A)
5. Fold back rainfly above front door, locate sleeve on underside of rainfly; then insert gold vestibule pole. (Fig. 3B)
6. Insert one end of gold vestibule pole into second grommet in web strap at front corner of tent. (Fig. 3 & 3C)
7. Go to opposite end of gold vestibule pole and gradually apply pressure to the pole forming an arch. Insert the end of pole into
second grommet at the opposite corner of tent. (Fig. 3 & 3C)
8. Repeat steps 5, 6, & 7 for second gold vestibule pole at back of tent.
9. Connect four rainfly clips on each side of tent to pole stake loops. (Fig. 3 & 3D)
10. Stretch rainfly vestibule taut then drive in stakes to secure.
11. Stretch guylines until taut, then secure with stakes. (Fig. 3E)

Things You Should Know:
• Under certain conditions (cold weather, high humidity, etc.) condensation will form on the inside of your tent. Condensation is caused by water vapor from your
breath, perspiration, or any wet clothing inside the tent. It is NOT LEAKAGE through the tent fabric. It can be minimized by removing wet clothing from your
tent and by providing good ventilation through the tent.
• Never store tent, even for a short period of time, without drying it thoroughly and brushing off caked dirt. Do not pack stakes or poles inside your tent. Use a
separate storage bag.
• STAKES SHOULD BE REMOVED BY PULLING ON THE STAKE ITSELF. NEVER PULL ON THE TENT TO REMOVE STAKE.
• TENT POLES SHOULD NOT BE LEFT TELESCOPED TOGETHER DURING STORAGE.
• Do not leave your tent set-up for weeks at a time. Be aware that exposure to ultraviolet rays from the sun can seriously damage material and/or cause it to
become discolored.
WARNING: Keep all flame and heat sources away from this tent fabric.
This tent meets the flammability requirements of CPAI-84. The fabric may burn if left in continuous contact with any flame source. The applica-
tion of any foreign substance to the tent fabric may render the flame-resistant properties ineffective.
