I have a weslo cadence TS5 treadmill that has been in storage for a few years. It was operating fine prior to storage. I ordered a new safety key and I need to know if the key has to slide all the way into the slot or just half way? also can my problem be the fuse that is mounted on the front end of the treadmill?

5 Yes the safety key has to go clear to the bottom to activate the safety feature. Yes the fuse could be blown and also with it being in storage if it wasn't weather sealed and climate controlled, moisture could have fried the electrical units in the main mother board of the machine.
