The resistance control on my c4 has started to ope...

The resistance control on my c4 has started to operate in reverse. When I increase the number of bars, the resistance becomes less. When I stop and the machine resets, the resistance goes to the maximum level - but the bars go to zero. How can I reverse this back to normal operation?
