I have a Sportscraft 4.9 treadmill. It will run for approx. 7 seconds, then stops running and the number 3 appears in the speed box. Any idea what is wrong?

0 i had the same problem,mine ran for about 5 seconds and then the 3 appeared,it was the plastic ring around the front roller, it has a plastic ring around it that holds a magnet, the magnet has to pass a T shaped sensor to keep running,check to see if the plastic ring is broke mine was and i glued it back together.
