I have a Schwinn 835p treadmill - it works fine, but my problem is that I can't fit it through the doorway to move it out of my basement. I need to at least disassemble it to the point where I can do that. I am mechanically inclined and have any tools to do this, I just cant find any reference online for disassembly. It looks as if I can possibly detach the belt section where it attatches to the base section with the motor and wiring. Should be simple I would think. Any advice or reference for me?

0 mlhegarty, I am about to try and do the same thing (Disassemble it). Did you ever get it done? How did it turn out?

0 Fold up the tread and turn it sideways to fit through the door. We use folded towels over our shoulders to let the thing "hang" from our shoulders, providing the narrowest profile to fit through the door. Not easy, but very doable.
