Question About Schwinn Motor Scooters Treadmill 6800.1
my schwinn 6800.1 treadmill display wont light up....

my schwinn 6800.1 treadmill display wont light up. Got any suggestions as to the problem? It just beeps when it is first plugged in or the emergency stop button is depressed.

0 In case anyone else had this same problem..I was able to find the problem. It turned out to be a faulty console membrane overlay (the thin touchpad with control buttons). This item is no longer available anywhere. I ended up getting (6) momentary contact toggle switches that I mounted off to the side of the overlay, and labeled each switch's function. You have to peel up the overlay and look at the back side to trace out the simple circuits, and solder wires to the 8-pin terminal where the overlay's ribbon cable attached.
