5 Most likely the belt underneath the black plastic part of the treadmill, has some how come out of it's place or possibly even ripped. Your best bet to figuring out the issue is to disassemble that black portion of the treadmill at the front to get a better view of what the issue really is. Without taking a closer look, it'll remain a mystery.
