This older yet lightly used machine became stuck…

for NordicTrack Treadmill C2270 NTL12950

This older yet lightly used machine became stuck on 1 mph and would not adjust up or down. When I called to request service I picked up the walking surface to get the serial Number, let the treadmill down and it started working fine. Is there a reset of some type on this machine and if so what is it or am I experiencing computer/electronic problems?
