4 I just sorted this problem. Its a safety break-away switch. Its supposed to have a lead plugged into a two pinned socket on console face, which is to be attached to your body so if you fall it comes out and stops the machine. I've templorary bypassed it by sticking in a short piece of wire to make the circuit. A paper clip will do same job.
