Problems getting started

for Weider Home Gym 28ST

Hi. I purchased a mini stepper from kmart recently. There was no user manual inside, but I think I got it set up alright. My problem is I can't get it started to use it!!! I can't get the computer or anything else to actually work; I can't get the steppers to move at all. Please help. An instruction manual would have been helpful. Thanks.

    I had the same problem and couldn't find anything on the internet or with the paper that came with it. Out of despiration I tried adjusting the pedal distance knob (#26 - see 'Using the stepper - Adjusting the pedal distance') underneath the unit. That is the knob with the + and - signs on it. I turned it clockwise until the pedals started to rise. I needed to turn it quite a few full turns until anything happened, but it seems to work fine now. Good Luck.
