My aunt just gave me her pro-form xp 70. I bought ...

My aunt just gave me her pro-form xp 70. I bought new batteries and put in and all the lights came on but no buttons are working. I cant even turn it on and off. Is there anything i can do to fix it? Please help i would love to be able to use it. Thanks!
