How can I Open this, to set it up?

for Fitness Quest Home Gym Total Gym1000

I have had this Total Gym 1000 for many yrs., Now I can't get it set up to use it! Can someone Please help a 64yr. old? I kow it's easy, but I just can't figure it out! I know nothing is broke.
