console is broken!

for Gold's Gym Home Gym GGEL60407.0

It lights up, but nothing is displayed on the screen, none of the buttons work except the fan. I think it might have broken during transport... I got a 2 year extended warranty but I'm not sure if it starts a year after I purchased or not because it's been 3 years. ANY ADVICE PLEASE.
